Cirque Indy is pleased to offer a 12 week course to introduce students to instructing aerial lessons and classes!
The upcoming session begins January 5th and runs through March 23rd. Class will meet on Tuesday evenings 6pm-7:30pm.

- Curriculum Design
- Spotting Technique
- Classroom Management
- Leadership in Coaching
- Rigging in a Gym Facility Setting
- The Psychology of Teaching Aerials
Weekly Teacher Training Class
The class meets weekly for 90 minutes. This time is spent in discussion and practicing instruction and spotting technique.
Classroom Instructor Shadowing
In addition to the classroom instruction students will complete 10 hours of shadowing a Cirque Indy instructor. Students will both shadow and lead parts of these classes with oversight from the senior instructor. They will also receive feedback from senior instructors as they complete each shadow.
Gym Work Hours
Students will also have gym hours to complete, doing equipment maintenance, student communications, working with booking and scheduling software as well as other tasks to support the functioning of the aerial space.
Students can expect the total weekly time commitment to be between 2 – 12 hours. Tuition for the 12 weeks is $580. Students may pay in full for a 5% discount or pay a weekly rate of $49.
